240 Foreign Dignitaries to Attend Russia Arms EXPO 2013

Among high-ranking delegates attending Russia Arms EXPO 2013 (RAE 2013), the IX International Exhibition of Arms, Military Equipment, and Ammunition are Defense Ministers of the Republic of Iraq and Kyrgyzstan, General Consuls of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Tajikistan, and France, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia, and others.
Since 1999, Russia Arms Expo has been seeing more and more visitors from abroad. Over 14 years, the number of participating countries has grown by more than 40%, and the number of exhibitors has more than quadrupled. RAE has always mirrored the trends and prospects of the global arms market, says Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin: "Traditionally, the exhibition is attended by foreign experts and high-ranking government delegations from countries that import and export armaments. International companies present their products here as well."
Besides, Russia Arms Expo-2013 will welcome officials from Defense Ministries of Algiers, Hungary, Egypt, Israel, Kazakhstan, Poland, France, Czech Republic, and Sweden; ambassadors and attaches of Byelorussia, China, Laos, Mozambique, Tajikistan, and Sweden, as well as representatives of the Netherlands Arms Control Agency.
The exhibition in Nizhniy Tagil is aimed at boosting business ties among producers and users of military equipment, armaments, and ammunition throughout the world. Over the course of the exhibition, experts and delegates will take part in a business agenda that touches upon issues of international security, arms control, international law, and other aspects of defense policy.
